Every love story has a beginning, and ours started with laughter, good timing, and a few tequila shots.

Hailey and Sam first met on Sam’s 26th birthday at the Gustine Club. Between the music, the celebration, and—of course—tequila shots, there was an instant connection. If we’re being honest, our first impressions were pretty simple… we both thought the other was really good looking. But beyond that, there was an easy chemistry that neither of us could ignore.

Surprisingly, it took Sam four months to finally ask Hailey out on their first official date. When he did, he made it count—taking her to The Grove in Stevinson, where the tequila shots made another appearance and the conversation flowed just as easily as it did the night they met. From that moment on, something clicked. What started as one date quickly turned into spending every single day together, building a relationship full of laughter, love, and a whole lot of fun.

Five years later, Sam proposed in a way that was perfectly us. No big production—just a real, genuine moment at home. In their kitchen, with Sam still in his dirty work clothes and Hailey in her pajamas, he asked the question that would change their lives forever. It was simple, unexpected, and absolutely perfect.

Now, as we step into this next chapter, we’re doing things our way—non-traditional and full of meaning. We’ll be eloping in Maui, just the two of us, and then celebrating with all of you afterward… the best way we know how: surrounded by the people we love and probably sharing a few more tequila shots.
